no ordinary love...

was listening this song from the ocf wa cd today. it's funny how sometimes a song you listen to so many times, and then there is this one time, when it cuts deep within your heart. the part of this song that sticks with me

seasons change,
yet your love remains,
your faithfulness
amazes me

in the book of Hosea, this is the heart of God that we see over and over again. it's amazing how even when we are so stubborn (the Isrealites were DETERMINED to turn away from God), God still says "how can I give you up?". indeed, our God's love is so deep, so vast, so incomparable. and why is it that sometimes we (or maybe me) are still not contented? we chase after facets of love that humans can only show, when God offers so much more!

Your faithfulness.... amazes me...

thank You God, for you are God, and not man.
thank You for such a great love.
thank You for forgiving me over and over again.
thank You for staying by me, even when i don't acknowledge it.
thank You for Jesus Christ, my righteousness!
