random update..

... the first of many more to come.. seeing as how my thoughts float around my head like how gas particles float around in a closed container (read:random).. yes i still remember my physics.. thank you! thank you! *takes a bow*

anyways... was mucking around with my camera.. and photoshop.. seeing as i havent been using either much.. and these things were lying around... and then.. *sudden stroke of inspiration*

there is a story behind the apple that was lying around my study table ok!
yar.. i have re-joined the working masses.. and this time round.. i do more than just sitting in front of a PC scanning stuff.. i have to go from door to door to do surveys.. and in the 2 rounds of door-knocking, i have encountered a myriad of characters..

it is funny how some people can seem so friendly outside be so cold inside. they wouldn't even let me explain that i am not SELLING anything... even though the person who slammed the door shut on me was a total stranger.. it left a sort of sourness...

then on the other end are the "dao" looking ones who are so very very hospitable. i was invited into the house.. seated down and even given a nice cold drink! (cold drinks are always welcome... its freaking hot in the afternoons! i think i'm sunburnt!) anyway.. i digress.. so yea.. and here's where the apple comes in.. this chinese lady.. who looked really steely.. u know like how a typical school teacher would look like.. she answered my questions and blah blah blah.. then when i was done she asked if i wanted lunch.. if i wanted a bottle of water.. both to which i declined.. paiseh mah.. but she insisted i not leave empty handed and gave me an apple and a few cherry guavas she planted (they were yummy... think ripe guavas the size of cherry tomatoes...) and yea.. believe it or not she's malaysian! we arent that rude after all!

so yea... looks really can be deceiving.. and for those who wax lyrical about how foreigners are so much friendlier than malaysians... please dont generalise and group us all as cold, heartless people who are out to get your money..

oh my goodness.. i dont even know if my post was even coherent at all..
oh well!

oh ya... my inspiration to take the pic of the apple next to me mac was from debbie.. cos she calls all apple appliances ping guo.. which is also what i named the picture! i know.. my creativity knows no bounds!
