however, there are times when you need a set routine to get things going. a familiar load of work or activities to help you feel at ease (and not as if you are wasting your life away.)
well, the new semester has started. last week i still felt like i was on holiday. then later in the week, the work came pouring in study calendar after study calendar outlining due dates and assesments. and then on fri night, there came the first public meeting for ocf. and from then on, it felt like i had got my routine going already. doing my work and all. i think nothing feels better than knowing that your time is not wasted on something utterly useless (like hour after hour of tv shows.. hmm..)
so.. maybe going back to the grind is not such a bad thing after all. it keeps me occupied. too much excitement and uncertainty might after all, be bad for the heart (over-pumping and all). i guess as in all things in life, we have to find that balance *life lessons from esthey*- sorry.. digression.. but yea.. whatever works! watever keeps me from bumming and rotting away can't be all that bad.. or maybe its just the excitement of a new semester... lets see how it all is when the novelty wears off...

on another note.. went crabbing on fri nite/sat morning. (crabbing is an activity where we catch crabs.. for the uninformed).. it was hard work spotting them, but great fun! becks was a wonderful partner and great company in the darkness of night. we caught 19 crabs in all (more if we didnt let some get away!).. but it was satisfying... and so was the dinner... crabs.. *yum*

so yea.. there's my update for now.. be back the next time inspiration hits. (happy? sekteng and minghong? now uve got something to keep u occupied for 2 minutes
