first round of birthdays for the year...

a month has passed... and ive celebrated the first bout of birthdays.... with chinese new year soon after...

chinese new year came ... and is going in a few days.. which means i'm this much closer to going back to the land down other...

everything about chinese new year is still the same.. the sweltering heat... the heaps of food... but whats missing this year is the noisy relatives (cos granny's away on holiday).. it feels funny somehow.. hmm.. when the noise is there i complain.. and when it isnt.. it feels sort of... non-festive.. oh well... and ive got the good fortune of contracting a sore throat... no more prawn crackers for the next few days.. *big sigh*
