now, i don't normally listen to stacie orrico songs... i think they've been overplayed on the radio, and her voice gets a bit difficult to bear after a while... but that aside,  let's talk about the magic of the shuffle function on itunes... which played this song and it caught my attention while reading...

this song reminded me about something a sister shared during prayer meet... how people automatically expect Christians to be perfect... yes, we are called to be perfect, but we are still getting there!

we are being renewed day by day, and we are only reflections of the glory of our Father. it is like peeping into a keyhole... what is seen in us is only but a small fraction of our God... His goodness, His love, His grace....

so let's take this to heart next time we want to judge fellow believers, or if you see a Christian friend behaving inapropriately. granted, it is no excuse for us, but we are all still getting there, and that besides growing in Him each day, we are to point others to Him....
