not quite a revival

well.. i thought that would be the end. but after the great sharing night we had at BSF last night, i wanted to pen this down (in some way or another).. to encourage future me and anyone doing God's work.. :)

the book of Matthew seemed all too familiar.. the parables.. the events in Christ's life.. but digging much deeper into it throughout the year has made me appreciate so much more Jesus's power and authority over all things, and how He knows His disciples so intimately.. each and everyone... its mind-blowing really.

God has taught me to be still and wait His time. to know, not only in my head, but believe in my heart that all the uncertainties that lie ahead rests perfectly in His hands. and that faith waits His time.

and also, hearing mums who have kids in the children's program share how much the kids have grown through the study made my heart melt and almost teary. it really has been such great encourgement because sometimes it seems like the kids don't learn anything some nights when they are super-hyeractive, or just flat-out tired.. but to see that God and the Holy Spirit are teaching them His truth in the Bible, and putting them in situations where they can apply it.. I just feel blessed to be a part of their Spiritual journey and discovery.

indeed God is good. and He has given me much encouragement and confirmation that this is what I am meant to be doing at this season in my life.
