the God of impossible

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations... Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." - Romans 4:18-22

we did this passage in bsf several weeks ago, and i remember one of the questions asked 'what is one thing u've learnt from the study this week?' or something to that effect. and i remember writing down my answer as 'to have a faith that is like Abraham, who believed that God could do the humanly impossible, because he recognised God is God' or something to that effect..

and now, i come to the part where i have to really put this into practice. how do i trust God, when things don't go as you thought it might. and at this point, it seems so difficult.

but yet, i also do know that my God is a God of wonders, and He will do whatever He wills. but knowing this and reconciling it with whatever that goes on in my head to solve the problem before me is where the challenge comes in.

now i guess its time to really get down on my knees, and give it all into His hands. for there is nothing that i can really do but trust that He will work it out. that He will provide whatever i need to get through the year, and through that, He will be given all glory.

p/s: if you'd like to know the full story behind this post, you can ask me. i won't bite, promise.. :)
