anyway.. that was a good week break of hardly any work... and lots of bumming and going places..
here's some piccys of my spring break!
monday: went to King's Park for the wildflower festival..
the group of ppl that went...
some of the preetty flowers there.. felt a bit ripped off.. i see these flowers by the roadside..
but oh well... they look pretty in a whole field i guess.. and actually having the time to stop and appreciate it without a truck blaring away in the background is sorta nice too.. 
some pictures i find fascinating... (left): talk about stating the obvious....
; (right): hmm.. didnt really understand why an old cupboard & a few pots were placed in the middle of a field of WILD flowers... where would you find that out in the wild?? 
then... tuesday and wednesday was pretty much uneventful...
and then came thursday!! we went to caversham wildlife park.... and yet again.. piccys!!

some of the oh so adorable animals we saw... a sleeping koala (left).. doesnt it look soooo comfortable?? and a quokka (right).. the drawing on the Quokka newspaper logo just doesn't do it justice!!
another sign which fascinated me.. the bird on the sign just doesn't look like it'll bite, does it??
.. oh and ruthie had fun with the bird that was in this cage... 
then it started to rain.. so i stopped taking piccys.. too lazy.. things that happened after that?? got surrounded by a group of hungry goats... saw some farm animals.. butts of sleeping possums, then went home..
the kangaroos there are lethargic i tell u!! all they do is sit around and wait to be fed! poor animals in captivity...
then went shopping with dai ka jie on friday.. bought myself a pair of preetty sandals..
the weekend.. was not so fun.. rushing for deadlines....
aah... what a fulfilling break... only downside is.. i missed the Perth Royal Show... nevermind.. there's always next year!!
countdown to SUMMER HOLS: 4 weeks... whee!! *rubs hands in excitement*
