of belated birthday celebrations and a man dressed as a bat

yesterday, i woke up with the prospect of getting out of the hs after 2 days of being stuck inside.. yesss!

My cg (grace, chinwee and zhungyi) decided to celebrate my bday with me... so first we went ice skating.. of which i was apprehensive at first due to the fact that the last time i skated was after PMR (in think), and the fact that my butt found the ice on numerous occassions... but the thing about empty skating rinks (like the one we went to) is that one is free to go whichever direction they want, and there is less chances of some total stranger colliding with you... and so after a low start.. i managed to go faster than 0.005 kmph... which i would call an achievement somewhat... and also my butt found the floor all but one time... not bad.. but all this got ruined when a busload of schoolies came barging in.. and the fun was gone.. so after a few more rounds and taking some pics.. we went for lunch (also because it was 2pm+ and we were getting hungry..)

and so we headed to the nearest place with a hint of cicilisation.. that is freo.. and had fish and chips (duh!!).. and we were all filled to the brim!! then it was cake cutting time!! yummy choclatey cake... made my wishes.. (which i won't disclose in fear of them not coming true.. haha..) and cut the cake.. (it was very yummy.. if u wanted to know...) and then cheewee and gracey decided to interrogate me with questions i have never thought of before.. and i had to dig deep into the recesses of my long unused brain to come up with an answer.. most thinking i have done in days i would say.. ( the last being when i'm doing my bsf work.. yes thats how much my brain is put to use)

hmm.. this is a preetty long post hey.. but i will press on until i'm done with the day's events..

then i came home, got some shut eye.. and then went out again.. this time for batman begins.. now being one who watched parts of batman and robin.. i was a bit apprehensive, despite the impressive trailers (trailers are known to capture the best of the movie after all..) but the movie was awesome... the best part was that it had humour besides the usual action-packed-saving-the-world sequences... and the movie just flowed through so well.. 2 thumbs up!

yea.. so after that full day after many uneventful ones.. i was quite tired and so called it a day.. thanx to my cg for celebrating my bday with me.. (thank u gracey for organising it.. good job! and chinwee for driving us round).. so that was it... i wanna watch madagascar next... (those back home.. u better not rub it in ok...)

here's the pics that were taken.. enjoy!
